The increase in the price of diesel occurred because expenditure from fishing business activities was greater than before, thus affecting the economic situation of fishing families at the Angin-Angin pier, Demak. Fishermen at the Angin-Angin Pier, Demak are implementing economic adaptation strategies with the aim of surviving in the face of rising diesel fuel prices. The aim of this research is to analyze the economics of the adaptation strategies implemented by fishermen and analyze the economic impact of the adaptation strategies that have been implemented in overcoming the increase in the price of diesel fuel for fishermen at the Angin-Angin Pier in the Demak Region, Central Java. This research uses a qualitative research model with a type of field research with an empirical approach. The results of this research can be concluded that fishermen at the Angin-Angin pier, Demak apply economic adaptation strategies, including: 1) The active strategy carried out is looking for side jobs and optimizing the role of family members. 2) The passive strategy used is to reduce family expenses by getting all family members to get used to eating simple side dishes. The impact of the economic adaptation strategy that has been implemented by fishermen is that they can fulfil their family's basic needs, have emergency funds, and buy diesel fuel for fishing purposes.

EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN BUBUK CANGKANG TELUR AYAM BROILER TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SIRIH GADING HIJAU

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of chicken eggshell powder on the growth of green pothos (Epipremnum aureum). The research was conducted at Al Hikmah Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School for Girls, Tambakberas, Jombang, over a one-month period, from July 7 to August 7, 2023. A quantitative field-based experimental method was employed. The samples consisted of three Epipremnum aureum plants subjected to different dosages of eggshell powder, namely 10 grams, 5 grams, and 0 grams (control), with an equal amount of water applied to each plant (220 ml). The observed parameters included plant length, number of leaves, and leaf color, which were measured weekly. The results indicate that eggshell powder had a positive effect on the growth of Epipremnum aureum. Plants treated with 10 grams of eggshell powder reached a length of 43 cm, developed 9 leaves, and maintained a healthy green color. Plants receiving 5 grams reached a length of 9 cm with 3 green leaves, while the control plants grew to only 2 cm in length with 2 leaves exhibiting a slightly yellowish color. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that broiler chicken eggshell powder is effective in promoting the growth of Epipremnum aureum, with the most significant improvement observed at the 10-gram dosage.

TRADISI BUWUH DALAM PERSPEKTIF ‘URF

The buwuh tradition is a cultural practice associated with wedding ceremonies in Lumbangrejo Village, Prigen Sub-district, Pasuruan Regency, in which invited guests provide monetary or material contributions as a form of social and financial support to the host family. This study aims to analyze the buwuh tradition from the perspective of ‘urf as a socially recognized and accepted custom within the community. This research employs a qualitative field research method using observation, interviews, and literature review as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the buwuh tradition is perceived positively by the local community, as it reflects the values of togetherness and mutual cooperation and does not contradict the principles of Islamic law (sharī‘a). From the perspective of ‘urf, the buwuh tradition can be categorized as ‘urf fi‘li (practical custom) and al-‘urf al-khāṣ (local custom), and is considered ‘urf ṣaḥīḥ because it does not violate Islamic legal principles. However, this tradition also faces several challenges, including potential financial burdens on the host family and the risk of social inequality. Nevertheless, the buwuh tradition continues to play a significant role in strengthening social solidarity and maintaining social harmony within the local community.

ANALISIS PERBEDAAN MINYAK GORENG CURAH DAN MINYAK GORENG KEMASAN MELALUI UJI KERAPATAN DAN UJI TEGANGAN PERMUKAAN

Cooking oil has long been an important part of public consumption in various parts of the world, including Indonesia. On the market, cooking oil is available in various types, two of which are bulk cooking oil and packaged cooking oil. One way to find out the quality value of cooking oil is through physical test, such as test density and test surface tension. With the aim to determine the differences quality between bulk cooking oil and packaged cooking oil. The research method used is the experimental. Measurement of the density value is done by comparison of mass per volume of cooking oil, while to know the value of surface tension using capillary rise. Based on the research that has been conducted shows that the packaged cooking oil has a value of density and surface tension bigger than the bulk cooking oil. Oil density average value of packaged cooking oil is 830 kg/m³ bigger 10,1% of the bulk cooking oil. Oil surface tension average value of packaged cooking oil is 0,0238 N/m bigger 48,6% of the bulk cooking oil.

LARANGAN EKSTREMISME BERAGAMA: STUDI HADIS RIWAYAT IBNU MAJAH NOMOR 3020

This article examines the hadith concerning the prohibition of religious extremism as found in Sunan Ibn Mājah number 3020. The phenomenon of religious extremism has increasingly emerged over time and is often carried out in the name of religion, despite deviating from the core teachings of Islam. Such extremism is characterized by negative prejudice toward other groups due to differences in manhaj, as well as rigid and harsh attitudes in the application of religious teachings. The hadith narrated by Ibn Mājah number 3020 explicitly forbids extremist behavior in religious practice. Accordingly, this study aims to analyze the quality of the hadith and its contextual interpretation. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research design. Data were collected through documentation and a comprehensive review of hadith sources and relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that the hadith under study is classified as ṣaḥīḥ li-dhātihi, as it fulfills the criteria of hadith authenticity, including an uninterrupted chain of transmission, narrators who are upright (ʿadl) and accurate (ḍābiṭ), and the absence of shādh and ʿillah. This hadith may therefore be used as authoritative evidence (ḥujjah) and practiced, as it does not contradict the Qur’an or other authentic hadiths. Contextually, the hadith emphasizes that religious extremism is strictly prohibited, as its continuous practice can have detrimental effects on religious communities and undermine established religious norms and values.
